I usually end up hating my poetry, often finding it trite or "full of sound and fury, signifying nothing". But this is one of my favorites. It happened so organically, despite the fact that I was staring at about 150 word magnets on my fridge. I'll take your advice and keep - or start - writing poetry, but we'll see if I decide to publish it. :) Thanks for your support and encouragement.
